Protect Your Home from Flooding and Water Damage

Sump pumps prevent flooding in basements by detecting water that is rising up from the ground. In the event that water is detected, sump pumps will pump all of the water out of the basement automatically. This can prevent issue that arise from heavy rain or even snow melting that would normally cause flooding.  This gives homeowners peace of mind when it comes to flooding.

Sump Pump Benefits
Another benefit having a sump pump is protection from issues caused by standing water such as mold and mildew. This means that your basement will have improved air quality from the dry air and also have less likelihood of having insects.

Sump Pump Protection
We install sump pumps to be your first line of defense against basement flooding. These provide everyday protection but we also implement battery backup systems to keep your home safe during a power outage. Having a battery backup is the most secure way to create a redundancy for the sump pump which will pump excess water out even if the power is lost.

How are sump pumps installed?

Sump pumps are typically installed at the lowest level of a basement or crawlspace. A pit is dug here that collects water from the perimeter of your home. We then position the pump in the pit and connect it to a discharge pip that is run outside of the home. We test the float switch to make sure that I will automatically activate when water is rising. We also can install a battery backup for. Once we finish the installation, we perform checks over the entire system for smooth operation and reliable drainage. This will make sure that when the pit fills up with water, the sump pump begins pumping the excess water out.
